Engagierte Projektentwickler, die Bundesstiftung Baukultur und das Analyseunternehmen bulwiengesa haben im Jahr 2019 die Studie Erdgeschosse 4.0 vorgelegt. Verschiedene neue Aspekte in der aktuellen "Bauwende" sowie zwei vertiefende Workshops in der Gruppe führten zu weiteren wichtigen Faktoren und Zusammenhängen für den Erfolg vitaler Erdgeschosse. Diese sind nun in der Kurzstudie Erdgeschosse 5.0 zusammengefasst.
