Die benchmark. REAL Estate hat gemeinsam mit bulwiengesa den Markt für Hotelneubau in Deutschland untersucht. Götz U. Hufenbach, geschäftsführender Gesellschafter von benchmark., fasst zusammen: „Der Hotelneubau in Deutschland hat durch die Pandemie einen Dämpfer erhalten. Wir sehen in Teilmärkten weiterhin Bedarf an modernen Konzepten wie Longstay-Hotels oder Serviced-Apartments.“ Martin Hantel, ebenfalls geschäftsführender Gesellschafter von benchmark., ergänzt: „Der Hotelmarkt entwickelt sich wieder zu dem, was er vor einigen Jahren bereits war: ein Markt für Spezialisten. Wer langfristig rentable Hotel-Investments sucht, muss die einzelnen Teilmärkte, die Hotelkonzepte und die Betreiberlandschaft genau kennen.“
Die deutschlandweite Studie wurde nach 2019 nun zum fünften Mal durchgeführt und basiert auf einer Analyse der Bautätigkeit im Hotelsegment für Neubauten mit mindestens 40 Zimmern.
